2020-2021 Charles Johnson Jr. Memorial Scholarship Winners: Photo Gallery

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the New York City District Council of Carpenters Welfare Fund (the “Fund), we would like to once again congratulate the 25 recipients of this year’s Charles Johnson Jr. Memorial Scholarship. Their achievements, both academically and in their communities, are a testament to their hard work and dedication, and are worthy of recognition, as well as celebration.

Normally, in celebration of their great accomplishment, the Board of Trustees would soon be hosting a luncheon in their honor, in which they could be properly congratulated. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is with great regret that the Board of Trustees must cancel the event this year. We hope everyone understands that this event is being canceled with their safety, as well as that of their families’ and the Fund’s staff, in mind.

Although we will not be able to celebrate their achievement in person this year, we would still like to recognize their accomplishment.
