2021-2022 Charles Johnson Jr. Memorial Scholarship Winners: Photo Gallery

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the New York City District Council of Carpenters Welfare Fund (the “Fund”), we would like to once again congratulate the recipients of this year’s Charles Johnson Jr. Memorial Scholarship. Their achievements, both academically and in their communities, are a testament to their hard work and dedication, and are worthy of recognition, as well as celebration.

Normally, in celebration of this great accomplishment, the Board of Trustees would soon be hosting a luncheon in the recipients’ honor. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was with great regret that the Board of Trustees canceled the event this year. We hope everyone understands that this event was canceled with the recipients’ safety, as well as that of their families’ and the Fund’s staff, in mind.

Although we will not be able to celebrate their achievement in person this year, we would still like to properly acknowledge their accomplishment.
