Independence Administrators to Send Out Updated ID Cards this Week

Please be advised that due to a misprint on the original ID cards sent out by Independence Administrators, all eligible members and dependents will be receiving new cards in the mail sometime this week (or soon after). The original ID cards stated that the copayment for an Urgent Care visit is $20 when in fact it is $25. The new cards will reflect the corrected amount. It is important to note that this is NOT a change to the Plan, but simply a correction of a misprint.  

Additionally, to help you avoid confusion, we would also like to remind you that your ID cards for Independence Administrators are strictly for your medical/hospital benefits, while your new cards from Empire BlueCross BlueShield are for your dental benefits ONLY.
