Attention NYCDCC Members and Retirees:

Recently, the Fund Office has received a number of phone calls concerning rumors that have been circulating regarding potential changes to the NYCDCC Pension Fund’s Age 55 Early Retirement Provision and related Welfare Fund coverage. As a result, we would like to take a moment to put your minds at ease and definitively address these rumors. Please read the following carefully:

-There are NO plans, nor have there been ANY discussions between the Board of Trustees to change the early retirement age from the current age of 55.

-There are NO plans, nor have there been ANY discussions between the Board of Trustees to CHANGE, REDUCE, or ELIMINATE, retiree Welfare Fund coverage.

-The Board of Trustees will ALWAYS function with the best interests of the members in mind and will continue to look for opportunities to IMPROVE NYCDCC benefits.
