For many men, the fear of prostate cancer can be overwhelming. Luckily, the NYCDCC Welfare Fund’s partner, MSK Direct, has developed prostate screening educational materials meant to encourage early prostate screening for males over age 45. Learning about the risk factors associated with developing prostate cancer, such as age, family history, race, or ethnicity can help lower fear and uncertainty commonly associated with this disease. We encourage you to click on the flyer located in this article to learn more.
The Welfare Fund has a partnership with MSK Direct that provides help and access to treatment for participants and their families. MSK Direct delivers the highest-quality cancer programs and services, virtually or in-person, to help navigate your unique journey of screening and prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and life beyond cancer.
If you or a family member are impacted by cancer and would like to discuss treatment options at MSK, please call the dedicated MSK Direct phone line for the NYCDCC Welfare Fund at 833-786-3368 or visit www.mskcc.org/nycdcc.
