National Prescription Drug Take Back Day – October 26, 2024

To address the public health issue of prescription drug misuse, the Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) is hosting National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26, 2024. This event is an opportunity for individuals to remove unneeded medications from their homes and safely dispose of them.

National Take Back Day is a nationwide event, with several DEA collection sites in the tri-state area. The NYCDCC Benefit Funds encourages our members to participate, as we strive to reduce overdoses and build safer, healthier communities.
