NYCDCC Board of Trustees Approves Further Improvements to Dental Plan: Effective July 1, 2024

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the New York City District Council of Carpenters (“NYCDCC”) Benefit Funds is pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2024, the NYCDCC Welfare Fund’s dental plan through Anthem BlueCross BlueShield (“Anthem”) will enact the following improvements:

-The Annual Benefit Maximum for Active Participants/Dependents will increase to $4,000 (previously $2,500).

-The Annual Benefit Maximum for Retired Participants/Dependents will increase to $3,000 (previously $1,500).

-Coverage provided by Anthem BCBS under the “Dental Complete” network will increase to 100% (previously 80% or 50% in certain instances). This will bring the “Dental Complete” network in line with the “XPO” network.

These changes will provide eligible NYCDCC members and your dependents better access and coverage across Anthem’s In-Network providers.
