NYCDCC Welfare Fund’s Telehealth Provider Has Changed from LiveHealth Online to MDLIVE

As part of the transition from Empire BlueCross BlueShield to Independence Administrators, effective January 1, 2023, the NYCDCC Welfare Fund also switched telehealth providers from LiveHealth Online to MDLIVE. (*This does not apply to retirees who are covered through UnitedHealthcare). 

We recommend that you set up your MDLIVE account as soon as possible to ensure your access when you or a dependent may need telehealth/telemedicine services.

To activate your account and access MDLIVE services, you can:

• Visit mdlive.com/levelcarehealth
• Download the “MDLIVE” app on your smartphone
• Text “LevelCareHealth” to 635-483 to chat with Sophie, a virtual assistant who will help you sign up
• Call MDLIVE at 1-888-921-0313
