Preventive Care services, which are regulated by the Affordable Care Act (”ACA”) and provided through the NYCDCC Welfare Fund (”the Fund”), include outpatient services and office services. Screenings and other services are covered as Preventive Care for adults and children with no current symptoms or prior history of a medical condition associated with that screening or service.
*Many Preventive Care services are covered by the Fund at no cost when provided by an In-Network Provider. These services include but are not limited to the following:
IMMUNIZATION VACCINES FOR CHILDREN AGES 0-18
IMMUNIZATION VACCINES FOR ADULTS
CHILDREN’S PREVENTIVE HEALTH SERVICES
ADULT PREVENTIVE HEALTH SERVICES
PREVENTIVE SERVICES FOR WOMEN (INCLUDING PREGNANT WOMEN OR WOMEN WHO MAY BECOME PREGNANT)
