Update Concerning COVID-19 Related Amendments to NYCDCC Annuity Fund

Last week, the NYCDCC Benefit Funds announced that the Board of Trustees made changes to the Annuity Fund to allow members easier access to their individual retirement savings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although these changes were made effective immediately, the Fund Office noted that Prudential needed some time to implement these changes in its system. As a follow up to that note, we can now confirm that Prudential has advised us that its system will be ready to enact these changes on Friday, April 10^th. Consequently, we ask that members please wait until April 10^th to inquire about individual plan loans and/or withdrawals related to COVID-19.

Also, please note that the Fund Office will NOT be able to assist you with your Prudential questions and/or requests. All questions and/or requests should be directed to Prudential directly at (877) PRU-2100 or www.prudential.com/nycdccbf.
